Fiji Marine – Walt Smith International

Walt Smith International is committed to coral farming and manufacture of live rock for export and has pioneered this new technology since 1998 when they started the first commercial coral farm in the world.

Today there are 16 different countries and over 100 different coral farms operating throughout the world based on the example WSI has set to follow.

WSI has increased its employment level and specialised skill training in Fiji and Tonga through their aquaculture program.
The department of Fisheries and the Ministry of Environment have embraced this project and offered their support for the advances made by WSI In this industry.
